Safety Agreement - Gravity
Our Safety Agreement contains important information about the risks involved whilst participating in Gravity activities. It includes information on what you must do to reduce such risks. Read our Safety Agreement carefully and sign it to confirm both your understanding and agreement that all rules will be followed. Do not sign this agreement if you do not fully understand or agree to its content.
You must be aged 16 or over to sign a Safety Agreement at Gravity, for yourself or someone aged under 16.
Risk
Risks include, but are not limited to, injuries such as; lacerations, bruises, sprains, impacts, abrasions, twists, fractures and concussions, which may occur and affect any part of your body - injures sustained may be life changing, and could result in death. You may also lose or damage your property, including, but not limited to; clothing, accessories, jewellery, technology and money. Gravity accept no responsibility for any theft of customer property.
Safety Rules – Gravity Trampoline Park
You must follow Gravity’s rules at all times. If you are responsible for anyone aged under 16, you must ensure they too follow Gravity’s rules at all times - if you do not think this is possible, you/they must not participate under any circumstances as this will endanger yourself and others.
- You must follow instructions from Gravity Staff Members & safety signage at all times without exception.
- You must watch and pay full attention to the activity Safety Video(s) before starting any session. Under no circumstances may you participate in any activity unless you have watched and understood the full video.
- You must not participate in any activity if you are not physically/mentally able to do so. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, you must seek professional advice before doing so - this includes pre-existing health conditions.
- You must wear Gravity approved socks at all times. Socks must not be removed during participation.
- You must not take/wear any objects into/on activity areas that may cause injury/damage to yourself or others. This includes, but isn’t limited to; jewellery, watches, technology, sharps, food and medication.
- You must wear appropriate clothing that enables ease of movement, suitable for strenuous physical activity.
- You must leave the activity areas as soon as your session time expires or if Gravity staff instruct you to do so.
- You must not run or race at any time in any location within Gravity.
- You must stay in control and within your own abilities. If you feel un-controlled, you must stop immediately.
- You must stay away from others - all physical, person to person contact is prohibited.
- You must not ‘double bounce’ - bouncing on the same trampoline as someone else is prohibited.
- You must bounce and land in the centre of trampolines - do not bounce outside of the coloured border or onto padding, walkways, rest areas or others.
- You must land on two feet, your back or your bum when using trampolines. You must not land on your head.
- You must not land on your feet or head when using airbags - only land on your back or bum.
- You must not obstruct someone else’s path - check your own path is completely clear before moving.
- You must not sit, rest or lay down in any activity area. You must exit the activity area if you need to rest.
- You must not do, or attempt, double flips or gainers (opposite rotation with movement).
- You must not climb, hang or scale equipment unless signage or Gravity staff permit you to do so.
- You must not throw any items/equipment in Gravity. This excludes dodgeball/dodge-attack areas.
- You must not remove balls, pugil sticks (battle beam equipment) from the activity area it belongs in.
- You must not climb without being fully harnessed and permitted to do so by a Gravity Staff Member.
- You must not join any activity if you are unwell, or present symptoms of any disease (such as COVID-19).
Safety Rules – E-Karting
You must follow Gravity’s rules at all times. If you are responsible for anyone aged under 16, you must ensure they too follow Gravity’s rules - if you do not think this is possible, you/they must not participate under any circumstances as this will endanger yourself and others.
- You must follow instructions from Gravity Staff Members & safety signage at all times without exception.

- You must not participate in any activity if you are not physically/mentally able to do so. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, you must seek professional advice before doing so - this includes pre-existing health conditions.
- You must not participate if you are pregnant.
- You must not take/wear any objects into/on the karting activity that may cause injury/damage to yourself or others. This includes, but isn’t limited to; jewellery, watches, technology, sharps, food and medication.
- You must wear appropriate clothing that fits tight to your body - no loose clothing or accessories such as scarves, dresses, large chains, straps etc.
- You must leave the activity areas as soon as your session time expires or if Gravity staff instruct you to do so.
- You must wear a helmet and balaclava, if instructed to wear one by a member of our team.
- You must keep your helmet visor closed whilst racing at all times; if you are instructed to wear a helmet.
- You must fasten your seatbelt if one is available in your kart.
- You must not wear sandals, high heeled or open toed footwear - closed/flat shoes are mandatory.
- You must tuck long hair into your clothing/helmet or, tie it in a bun close to your head.
- You must not participate if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- You must not eat or drink in the activity area at any time.
- You must respond appropriately to marshal, flag and (or) light instructions promptly.
- You must stay in control and within your own abilities. If you feel uncontrolled or unsafe, you must slow down & (or) stop in a safe place and notify a track marshal.
- You must stay away from others - all physical, person to person / kart to kart contact is prohibited.
- You must not exit your kart until instructed to do so by a marshal.
- You must keep your arms, legs, and head within the kart at all times.
- You must keep two hands on the wheel at all times.
- You must not obstruct someone else’s path - check your own path is completely clear before moving or overtaking.
- You must drive slowly in the pit lane, or anywhere else on the track if instructed to do so by a marshal.
- You must always drive in the correct direction of the track - never drive in the opposite direction.
- You must not attempt to take shortcuts; you must remain between the white track lines at all times.
- You must not join any activity if you are unwell, or present symptoms of any disease (such as COVID-19).
Safety Rules – Batting Cages
You must follow Gravity’s rules at all times. If you are responsible for anyone aged under 16, you must ensure they too follow Gravity’s rules - if you do not think this is possible, you/they must not participate under any circumstances as this will endanger yourself and others.
- You must follow instructions from Gravity Staff Members & safety signage at all times without exception.
- You must not participate in any activity if you are not physically/mentally able to do so. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, you must seek professional advice before doing so - this includes pre-existing health conditions.
- You must not participate if you have epilepsy, or any other condition(s) causing sensitivity to sound or light.
- You must not participate if you are pregnant.
- You must not take/wear any objects into/on activity areas that may cause injury/damage to yourself or others. This includes, but isn’t limited to; any jewellery, watches, technology, sharps, food and medication.
- You must wear appropriate clothing that fits to your body - no loose clothing or accessories such as scarves, dresses, large chains, straps etc.
- You must wear appropriate closed toe footwear that provides grip and support. Open toed footwear and high heeled shoes are not permitted.
- You must not consume any food/drink withing the activity area(s).
- You must not participate if you are under the age of 4 years old.
- You must be at least 1m tall to participate.
- You must not sit, rest or lay down in any activity area. You must exit the activity area if you need to rest or require assistance. Do not lean on the activity area at any time.
- You must leave the activity areas as soon as your session time expires or if Gravity staff instruct you to do so.
- You must stay in control and within your own abilities. If you feel un-controlled, you must stop immediately. The activity can be stopped at any time by pressing the red emergency stop button.
- You must stay away from others - all physical, person to person contact is prohibited.
- You must not throw activity equipment at any time, or remove it from the designated activity area.
- You must ensure that you are the only participant within the activity area, using the activity, before you start and during your session. If any other person(s) enter the activity area, stop use immediately.
- You must not be heavily intoxicated by alcohol, nor under the influence of any drugs, whilst participating.
- You must face the projection screen and stay focussed on the activity at all times in order to ensure you are prepared for ball deliveries.
- You must select and use activity bats appropriate to your ability and body size. Ensure your selected bat is comfortable to hold and can be held tightly to prevent you from letting go.
- You must select and use activity gameplay mode level appropriate to your ability. If you have not played before, or for a long time, you must select the Beginner Level. Difficulty levels can be adjusted on throughout your session.
- You must not join any activity if you are unwell, or present symptoms of any disease (such as COVID-19).
